Unload from the rear of the building directly onto the stage. Very easy load in. You can leave your vehicle parked behind the building but if you have multiple vehicles, then park them at the housing location.

BANDS

*Sound Check: Typically between 7pm and 8pm on Friday. All equipment is left set up overnight unless for a special occasion. 

*Full Lights and Sound are provided by the Venue including monitors, mics, stands and cables. Backline provided by band. Bands are welcome to use their own monitors, mics, ables and stands.

ACOUSTIC

*Set up on small stage behind bar 30-45 minutes prior to show. Mason will assist you in setting up.

Weekend Bands: It is the preference for the club if you play straight through starting at 9pm and ending at 11:30. Historically the venue clears out when the band breaks. We realize this is a long set and some bands just can't play that long so if you have to take a break we prefer it to be as short as possible. Boathouse only requires the band to play until 11:30pm so this is the trade off for less or no break times.

Weekend Acoustic: Weekend time slots are 12, 2 and 4 depending on when you're booked. 3.5 hours total. One break 20-30 minutes max.

Weekday Acoustic: Sets on Monday-Thursday during peak season is 7pm-10:30pm. One break 20-30 minutes max

*Payment 5-7 days after show from New Youth Entertainment via Direct Deposit unless otherwise arranged through venue.

* Collect Ferry Reimbursement from the bartender (Usually Joey) on SATURDAY. Have receipts available to show if needed. Ferry reimbursement is for BAND MEMBERS ONLY. Any attempt to get ferry fees for guests of the band will be cause to never return to Boathouse. Please consolidate your vehicles as much as possible before heading onto the ferry.

* Food & Drink Tab: 1 Free Meal per Band Member per Day. No Alcohol Tab provided.

MillerFerry.com. Give yourself plenty of time to get on the Ferry and over to the island. Ferry ride is 30 minutes. Holidays and Busier weekends the wait can be several hours. Typical weekend I would shoot for the 6:00pm Ferry to be safe. Save your receipt and send me a picture of it. If you are coming over for acoustic show and can carry your gear without bringing it over with your vehicle, then you can take the Jet Express which lets you out right by The Boathouse. BANDS: Band Room (pictured below), is located about a 5 minute walk from the venue. It is in the basement of management housing. Band room is thoroughly cleaned and sheets are clean when you arrive. I do suggest you bring either a comforter or sleeping bad and personal pillow for comfort as bedding is standard bedding. Towels are provided as well.

From my experience, if you are going to bring your significant other, I would recommend getting your own lodging. The band room and acoustic room are just meant to be a clean bed and shower. It’s barracks-style and is meant to be a free place for touring bands to stay, not to bring a family or spouse.
