Housing

Housing is always a premium on the island. Every weekend we have multiple entertainers, extra security and extra bar staff we need to house. We assign everyone a room. Everyone will have anywhere from 1 to 4 people in their room depending on our housing needs for the weekend. You will not be asked to share rooms with people who are not in your group.

When you arrive on the island please contact Tara Reinhard (419)619-8869, facereinhard@yahoo.com. 

She will show you to your assigned room for the weekend. Clean sheets and bedding will be provided for you in your assigned room. All guests you bring with you must be approved by Tara Reinhard before arriving for the weekend. This includes significant others.

Housing rules

1. No smoking of any kind in housing, on housing property, or Frosty Property
2. Quiet hours are from 11 pm - 7 am (We have people that work breakfast who need their sleep)
3. No guest(s) without approval from Tara Reinhard
4. Please be respectful of everyone on the property. We have kids working until 2 am and workers that have to go into work at 6:15am.

Drinking and Bar tabs

If you would like to have a few cocktails while playing, we expect you to run a tab with the bartender and pay the tab at the end of each night. After your show, every band member can have a shift drink given to you for your hard work. One drink up to $8.00 is covered by Frosty’s. If your shift drink is over $8.00, you must pay the difference. The bartender will ring your shift drink up by your assigned name and band/group. You must sign the slip like all the other employees in the building. We expect all of our entertainers to be professional and not become intoxicated on stage.

Food

For each day you play , Frosty’s will provide a meal up to $20.00 for each band member. You will order from the employees and tell them you are an entertainer and it is your employee meal. The employee will ask you your name to print on the slip. Please sign the slip and write what band you are in on it. If you would like to come in for breakfast for your employee meal on Saturday or Sunday please come before 9am. After 9am we will be on a wait and will not do employee meals.

Show Set times, Set-Up, and Tear-Down

Inside 2-6 and 8-midnight Outside 4-7:30 and 8-midnight

Set up and tear Inside

Inside entertainers, we ask that you get here at 1 pm to set up for your 2 pm show. We are very busy at breakfast and it is hard for us to move the tables and get the stage in before that time. We then require you to tear everything down after your shows so the bands in the evenings can get set up.

Evening Bands, you must tear everything down after each night even if you are playing again the next day. If you have a large drum set, please ask Ryan, Casey, or Tyler if it is possible to leave it up. I know they are a pain to set up and tear down, so if it is possible with the next day’s early show we will try to leave it up; but all other amps, Instruments, stands, and cables must be packed up and removed from the bar.

We have a locked shed behind the bar where equipment can be stored. We will provide a metal cart for all of your heavy/small equipment. You can stack all of your equipment on it, wheel it back to our storage, and wheel it back for the next day. Any equipment used by Artists owned by Frostys from the shed will kindly sign out the sheet on the wall marking what was borrowed for use. Thank you!

Set up and tear down outside

Please show up at 2:30 pm to set up for your shows for your 4 pm start time. We will rearrange the tables to give you a place to set up and play. We will not pull out tables in the afternoon when the servers are working. We will rearrange to accommodate as much as possible. After you finish at 7:30 pm, please break down so the DJ can get set up as fast as possible.

Arriving and leaving on millers ferry

When coming to the island on Friday evening please give yourself plenty of time.
everyone we will be bringing a vehicle you will not be able to immediately get on a boat. It could take up to two hour before you get onto a boat so please consider that into your drive time.

Leaving the island Sunday I suggest getting up early and getting your vehicle in line for the boat. If you wait until 10 or 11am you will have a long wait time getting off of the island. All the hotels have check out times at 11am so that is when the line gets really crazy. I would suggest being in line by 8am if you don't want to wait multiple boats

Parking

If you are using your vehicle to store equipment, park it in the parking lot in front of the triplex (Webster House) . If you are not storing equipment in your vehicle, park your vehicle at the dorm parking lot. Tara Reinhard can show you where to park at the dorm parking lot.

Do not block the Frostys back driveway from the street to the back entrance to the patio!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need that space open for customers to enter and exit, and for service truck deliveries. Thank you!
